I've obviously not done a good job of revitalising my 'blog; haven't written anything since October. Mainly I know I need to do more to keep up with people not on Facebook -- I've not really taken to that google+ thing so far ( Read more... )

Thanks for this badass. I am not Katherine but I appreciate the recipe all the same.

Nice healthy lunch for all the family, picnics and barbecues. Hooray!

Yes do! I mean blog other stuff too but recipes for sure. maybe you could write a preamble to the recipe like you have here. Tell us where you ate it last etc. I request the peanut butter cookie recipe and the cucumber salad. Unless those are family secrets.

OK, peanut butter cookies are my sister's. I'd forgotten how nice they are!

Thanks for the recipe - I might try this for my work lunches as if sounds nice and fresh and simple, though my work doesn't entail excessive walking, um, if you don't count the 2 mile walk to work that is.

It's great for work lunches too, healthy, cheap and delicious. I ought to be working on tabbouleh marketing.

BTW - thanks for the xmas card - I sent you some of my home made xmas fudge - hope it got there ok - I had a London address for you but wasn't 100% sure it was the right one!

Ah yes! I kept meaning to write to thank you but I never got round to it because I'm an ungrateful wretch. I'm still gobsmacked that I actually managed to post a couple of cards last year - a rare achievement!

Fudge was delicious, it lasted 2 days tops before I scoffed the lot. Speaking of delicious, I'm eating your recommended tabbouleh right now, though I used mint instead of parsley because I've got stacks of the stuff dried and sitting around in jars.
Nom!
