Leo is completely unaware of the sprig hanging precariously above his head as he gently begins to tune the stings of an old lyre that was given to him last year during Sol Invictus

It's just too easy to pass up. Dana slips into his room, and kisses Leo firmly on the cheek.

"Some people really like Christmas," Dana guesses. She appreciates the lights and the tree, even the excess of mistletoe. It's just nice to know people are excited and that there's something to look forward to.

Leo is grinning as they near the kitchen. "Yup."
Of course, normally he'd either be up on Olympus or in Boca with his family for Sol Invictus, but with the recent break in nobody-his self included- considered it a good idea for him to leave his post

"Is anyone going to miss you for Christmas?" she asks. She knows he has family. Leo's mentioned the were a large family, but he wasn't very specific.

"Yeah, I was supposed to head back home-but with all the crap going on, pops and I agreed I should probably stick around."

"Will you miss seeing them?"

[badass_teddy]

"It's going to be weird not seeing them for a while." He hasn't missed a winter solstice party on Olympus since the Nixon confederation.

[faterootbeer]

"It's hard to be away from your family," Dana muses, rubbing her hand over the side of her belly. "Whom are you going to miss the most?"
