I've never really posted on here in a while, but I've never really had much of an idea on what to say, nor have I had the time. It is Spring Break and I am finally getting a rest from school and how busy it is

I'm sorry about your grandmother x.x I can't even imagine how it feels, to be 'nobody's granddaughter'. It sounds kind of scary... If you need to call me or something and rant, I can do that!

Western's one of the school's I'd love to get into, if just for the music program alone. I've been missing a TON about high school, like theatre, orchestra, friends... Hell. I even miss the classes, because I've realized how much I loved learning shit. And weirdly enough, I miss doing math problems. I have to do so many weird word problems to figure shit out all the time that I'll pause and go "Wow. I haven't been in math for three years and I'm still thinking in these terms..."

I've made a ton of friends at work, but... do I ever get out of the house? Not really. They all either go to school, work two jobs, only hang out at bars too late for me to go to, or we're just not that close enough to hang out, you know?

College can be extra hard when they assume we are all living on campus with all our expenses paid for. Jobs and commuting add a whole nother element of challenge to it that a lot of professors just dont seem to grasp. It sounds like you are working super hard though so I'm sure it will pay off in experience if nothing else.

I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother *hugs* and I miss that connection as well. I see people more than you do I'm sure, since I'm still in the same city, but that daily contact we all hadin High school was something special. It was alsmot like having a second family. I always feel like I dont have time, but its amazing how much more enjoyable life is when I make the effort to keep in touch with everyone. Hopefully being back on LJ will help with that =)
