Everyone makes mistakes. Automatically assuming the cashier was lying is pretty sucky, too. I'd try to give the benefit of the doubt and go back. If they refuse to fix it, THEN there's suck involved.
Oh myyy. It's never bad service. Only if you're dead, hence the tag.
Even if you don't want to make the drive, give them a call, OP. Just let them know the calendar didn't ring up, you'd like your money back when you come in. I doubt they'll have an issue with it.
I live really far away from my school as well, so I understand that it can be a hassle to make the drive when you don't really have to be there. The next day you have classes though, just head over there a little early with your receipt and see if they'll correct the mistake for you.
I take most of my classes online, but I still have to go to that campus for tests. Otherwise, my only on-campus classes are at another campus, direct opposite side of DFW (for my ASL) so if this happened to me, would it be worth the gas to go all the way back there?
Customer DID speak up, they said they did it right, they didn't. They LIED to the customer, so this is bad service.
But yeah, she has to go back to the campus. Sucks. At least the post makes it look like she goes to classes there regularly.
