So. I posted just yesterday about how I wasn't able to get through the massive amount of fail that is my pcp's office staff.

Since then I have:

-Called my insurance and was able to lodge a complaint against it (anonymously) and told them specifically what happened.

-Ended up in the ER with a migraine that WOULD NOT GO AWAY.

I bet you that the staff was told about the complaint, and since they don't know where it came from,(since you said you'd done so anonymously) they're being nice to everyone. Unless you mentioned something to the doc about it when you talked to him, but I wasn't sure since you didn't mention that you had. Glad you are doing better.

I don't know, I didn't mention it to him at all. And they're legally not allowed to bring it up to me. But All's fair when I'm in pain and need relief.

Glad you were able to get your meds. Hopefully you can get into a PM Doc.

I'm happy. I'm on 'backup' meds right now, but I can do that for a few days. I just can't believe how insane it all was!

um, pm me or something about pain management. i have tons of experience with that and, well, depending on what you want, and what it is for, and if it is for migraines(i have chronic intractable migraines and basilar migraines with a side of mini strokes and seizures and left sided progressive weakness and numbness- fun times!) pain management can mean weaning you off all meds and just dealing with it, injections, nerve blocks, and no rescue meds.

you can email me through lj.
