I've been standing here, at the bus stop on the corner of Parramatta Road & William Street for ten minutes.

I broke my foot at work on Saturday night. The only reason I'm even here now is that we have a staff meeting. I'm quite clearly on crutches, & it fucking sucks omg.

Ohhhh, I hate that crap! Mass transit sucks just in general, but far worse when wounded.

I'd call 911 and tell them that I suspected a bus was hijacked because a real bus driver would never do something like that.

You would waste 911's time because a bus didn't pull over at your stop? They have real emergencies to get to.

911 is very good at prioritizing according to their priorities. I do not choose to second-guess them in the complete absence of useful information. They know exactly what kind of emergencies they're dealing with at any given time. I don't.

This has happened to me so many times its disgusting.

Once I threw out my back but had to go to school (finals week) so I get on the bus, CLEARLY walking in pain, and ask the driver not to start driving until I can sit. He agrees, then takes off while I'm still putting my money in...WTF?!? I ended up standing in pain for a minute until he stopped again, at least the other passengers bitched at him about it.

I'm sorry your bus left you. Nonsense like this is why I avoid buses in lieu of the train system in Chicago.
