Today, I dropped by the post office to mail off a few packages. I was all excited because there was no line so I got to walk right up to the counter. First, let me describe the layout of my post office. When I've worn baggy shorts in blazing hot weather men have gone berserk, but sure, it's the woman's fault for daring to wear clothing like that.

You ask around & form an opinion based on the way you are treated. I often get accused of having a fake ID while buying booze. I decide people think I look younger than I am!

Agreeing with everything above. You could be wrong about his age, he could be wrong about yours, age is a non-issue. The leg comment is a bit - no, definitely - inappropriate, but you encouraged more by the giggling and even admit you found it funny.

In short, some guy hit on you and failed. The end.

Wah. You encouraged him, get over it. Just because you think you look 17 doesnt mean you do to other people. Its getting really old with the amount of people who whine that they get hit on but "omgod its so creepy because I look like Im younger". I blame the damn internet for this phenomenon of 20 somethings freaking out over getting hit on and looking underage, because Ive never heard anyone outside of it complaining nor did I ever hear it when I was in my 20s, before the inets.
