Airline Jerks

So im walking into the airport and I see every airline check-in aside from mine (im looking for ATA). I walk up to the Jet Blue desk and ask the guy if I can check in here because I dont see ATA anywhere. He looks at me and laughs (scoffs even) and then proceeds to say in a really condescending voice "Heh, um... if you wanted to return something to ( Read more... )

I worked for Nordstom in the 90's, and we DID take returns from other stores. And we didn't tolerate that kind of rudeness either.

He was an asshat & you should have filed a complaint, but swearing at him didn't exactly make you out to be the model customer either.

When did this journal become about being the model customer in the face of the worst employee?

I don't think you need to have impeccable behavior to have been given bad service.

How did the guy give her bad service? She expected an airline to process her for check in when she did not hold a ticket with that company & was not in their system. She was not a customer of his airline, so in reality, he was not providing her any service.

And, bad service & customer "suckage" often go hand in hand. Bad service can be the result of a sucky customer & a sucky customer can result in bad service.
