I... I know a little bit about the admin, and frankly I think she just refuses to play older characters because she's immature. And thus all her characters are immature.

(It's just sad when a 19-year-old tends to throw fits like a twelve-year-old girl.)

Oh, I'm not saying the book is the REASON she chose to do this (especially considering the cutoff in the book was twelve), I'm just saying that she probably got the plague idea from the book.

And that is sad. There's always a chance she's actually younger and is pretending to be nineteen?

Later, the goldrider gained a profile fit for sporking - which has actually already been done in a community not far from here. Best Harper in the world, talented beyond belief, Impressed to Gold Sexyth at the ripe old age of 12... need I go on?

So they aren't kidding about this place having a history - I was a member for the first... oh, two or three iterations, back in the day. And, yeah, it was awful, as a group of young teens are likely to produce. Lots of canon Pern twisted until it was shiny and sparkly, but keeping the ugly and dangerous bits, of course, because they were titillating or some shit. I eventually figured out that it all wasn't okay. Looks like some of the other members haven't, even now. Yeesh.

Oh, and the only one who ever had one of those super-special queen dragons was the admin, of course, hehe.

I am fairly certain that the admin you're talking about wasn't involved in the prior versions of the group, but who knows. The oldest admin is the one that shares a woefully similar name to me - although for some reason she doesn't seem to be going by it on the group itself. Wonder why that is, hrrrm.
