IC jokes aren't meant to be in the gender section. And the problem is the implication that one needs a particular set of reproductive organs to prove their gender.

It's minor, yes, but deleting it would also have been minor and would've made myself and others feel better. The reaction is what brought it to the level of problematic.

I'm probably taking a break from modding, in any case.

Ugh. No, you were completely in the right. You are not obligated to hold their hand wrt the transphobic 'joke'. Not to mention them considering that you were thought of as an unreliable mod because of "personal problems" (are they for serious?) on an rp you're trying to make inclusive is skeevy in itself.

Thanks, although I'm still doubting myself now, hahaha. And I think my problem with that is even if I weren't personally affected I'd still be bothered - if someone made a joke from in fandom that was visibly - if accidentally - racist (and there are several possibilities for those in this fandom!), I would've had the same reaction, despite being the whitest kid on the block. Getting accused of trying to make the RP all about my issues... yeah, it kinda sucks.
