Rules are there for a reason!

Read the rules. Please. Read the info and guidelines. I don't see why this is so hard.

Brand new member, you seem like you're going to be a super great addition to the board. Your app is pretty splendid, you're friendly and receptive in the cbox, you seem like you write great posts judging by the sample included in your app...

Our Werewolves Are Different )

modding fail, bad character bio, mary sue, i didn't read the rules

He has Lust!Eyes. HAHAA...my vampire girl would laugh in his face.

I hate when people try to force thier "sexiness" on others.

Ditto. It just makes me kneejerk AGAINST my characters finding them attractive.

Yeah, when people make a point to be like "YOU ARE COMPELLED TO FIND MY CHARACTER HOT. YOU HAVE NO SAY OTHERWISE!" it makes me go "mmmmno."

I just hate being told what to do, y'know?

And I have to also wonder...ALL women fall in love with him? So he can even make lesbians fall in love with him? What about gay men?

I'd honestly start asking him these things just to see him either freak out or get mad at all the questioing. XD

This actually sounds like a really compelling plot... Tempted to ask for a link, but I think I'm too busy with finals (and a final portfolio for a Intro to Fiction class which is giving me SUCH a case of writers block) and such to actually write up an app and join. :P

But yeah. Not reading the roolz fail.

I'm up to my neck in finals too so I'm on hold in all my threads--totally understand! If you get freed up though, hit me up and I'd be glad to send you a link

I, on the other hand, have an abundance, if not an overabundance, of free time. Might I trouble you for a link?

In my experience lust-eyes usually mean the player is going to end up "screw the plot, it's sexy time!" at some point.

Yeah, I see too many warning signs here to believe that this person is otherwise a good RPer. I'm sorry. If he's still making those kinds of mistakes...

And boo on the mod for not enforcing the rules from the start. That's how it always begins, you know.

It's an odd mixture and now that he's gotten started I'm starting to wonder if he's actually not so great, just writes bad stuff very well, if that makes any sense.

And admin has now let in that vampire despite him not following ratio rules :C I've got no personal grudge against him it's just I have this THING about, well, RP rules being followed and admins enforcing what they say they will. I realize this case doesn't affect me, but it still just kind of bothers me...might be sour grapes because I made a pretty tough choice between two of mine for what character I wanted as a Reprobate, though. SILLY ME, FOLLOWING THE GUIDELINES LAID OUT! /butthurt

You're not butthurt. You have a legitimate point, and the mod is fail. If the rules are written, enforce them. If you aren't going to enforce them, might as well change them. You may want to kindly bring this up with the mod and point out how it invites later rule-breaking behavior, from this person and others. It might save them headaches in the long run.

What happens if said characters come across someone who is blind? It seems that the "powers" are visual-based, so how do they overcome the barrier of "Hey, welcome to my visual-impairment"?

Sorry but I'm just curious. <(^x^)>
