Has finally had enough of your circle-jerking...

Okay, so this is a suck that has been bothering me for a while now. I tried to ignore it and just enjoy the game, and accept that you were just high and mighty self-important douchenozzles, but its getting to the point that I just can't take it anymore.

So, here it goes. I'm a part of a panfandom community game. There is a very small group RPers on ( Read more... )

cliques, forget your plot; i'm horny, good rpers don't write like that, characterization fail, fuckery

I small a bit of butthurt, here, but your point is valid. If, for whatever reason, a group of players want to stay with their friends, then they shouldn't parade around in a large, panfadom game and pretend like they are open to others. They should create their own game and do it there.

Fact is, no one OWES anyone play. Everyone has the right to play with whoever they want to. But picking up "outsiders" from their group to use and dump, or showing off in a big, panfandom game, is rude and stupid, and it's bound to create drama. Maybe if everyone just ignored them, they would get the hint.

Smell, not small. Sorry.

Well, my characters haven't been used and dumped, my own 'butt-hurt' might just be them shunning me when one of my characters happens to interact with them, because I have a certain character which would be very in character-ly (yes, I'm making up words) want to be around them. But, I can see your point.

And I do plan on never responding to them again, even if the certain pup in question is in my head screaming that he wants to come out and play. I'll just tell him to shut up.

Note that I am not judging. I don't know you, and sometimes people rant on this topic because they are "butthurt" that their character isn't one of the "cool kids". So, just trying to be fair to both sides, as far as perception goes.

However, I have definitely seen this happen all around, especially in huge, panfandom games, and it isn't nice at all, and it's BRP, IMHO, because it smells like elitism, and that never makes for a happy game. So I do empathize, even though I have seen people accused of this who really don't mean to do that.

They should be called out. If this is as bad as I think this is, they should be banned, too.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they need to be banned, but called out, yes... I just have to work up the courage to do it.

Or convince someone else to. XD

Ugh, gotta hate those kind who thinks they're a blessing to the rp and thus, everyone else are merely tools and garbage for them to use along with the community's forum. At least in a pandandom, there's less hassle about major main characters being played by this sort of player, usually reducing any plots involving players outside their cliques that requires said major character to a screeching halt... even mod created plots.
You got my sympathies.

I'm adding to they really need to be called out on that; that sort of clique always undermine forums on the long run. :c

ohgod, RP Clique Douchebags. I have so much loathing for this.

Definitely call them out on it. Especially since many of the other players seem to be annoyed with them as well.

I thought I was crazy. I've been through the same thing plenty of times and it irritated me. I couldn't explain it in words, but it looks like you got it right.

High-handed drama cliques.

I really can't stand pre-planned RPing either. One dude I knew always boasted about winning all the tine.

I don't even know that I got everything out in words, really. There are just some other things about them... that make me really angry and I can't even think of how to explain them.

It may come to you eventually, but what you have presented now well describes what I've been through in a few places I have long left.

I thought I was jealous or something seeing close-knit people, but no, they were using their friendship to justify their selfish actions.

(then again, they are not always close-knit. Recently left this place where hardly anyone, even friends, can finish a RP because they can't agree on how it's going. When happened to friendly discussions and editing? People make mistakes.)
