face flat from facedesking so often

I hate playing with you. Yep. There, I said it. I hate playing with you. I have to, because of certain pup connections, and I'm not enough of a bastard to drop everything. But I'm tired of dealing with your issues. You know, it becomes obvious that you have issues when they show up in every pup you ever write. Plus, you have two modes. I'm talking ( Read more... )

Okay, that is definitely creepy. If it was me, after the first few times, I would have said (probably to this person's face, so to speak) "Fuck this".

It's incredibly creepy. Especially with the universal disregard of in character cues in the narrative from writing partners. Things like 'so n so was uncomfortable with that' or the famous 'I'll respect your wishes of not being pawed! ----- FOR A SINGLE POST! THEN I'M BACK AT IT! BWA HAHAHA!' Or the equivalent thereof. I mentioned the part where it seems like I'm reading a rapist, yes?

I've actually attempted to diplomatically speak to them about some things and all I ever get is the defensive 'you're wrong!'. I think they don't notice that their opinion amounts to 'I'm right and everyone else is just misinterpreting me'.

The obvious solution would seem to be to have one or more of your characters react this way IC, have them tell his character(s) that their behaviour is too disturbing and abusive, and that your character(s) need(s) out of this relationship.

You get to stop roleplaying with them, and do so in a way that makes sense without dropping your characters or the game they're in.

Who knows? You might even get some good drama (in the non-pejorative sense) from playing out the part of the abused ex.

It's been attempted, by more than myself. (I'm not the only cat on the board to feel this way) I have cut in game ties ship-wise, they've moved on to other people. It's like a large, spreading disease. It isn't any easier to read when it isn't with my pups. It's actually almost worse.

...I have a cannibalistic-rapist-serial murderer muse for horror RPGs and stories that I love to use.

...And this makes me feel dirty. DDDD:

Seriously! I know what you mean! I just leaves me feeling skeeved out. The word 'slimeball' comes to mind. And it happens all the time, even with pups that aren't dating another character yet. So it doesn't even wait to kick in later. It's immediate, upon 'HAY NEW TARGET!'

This honestly reminds me of a guy I used to RP with, except he was a one-note RPer and played Genesis like Zexion. D: And just. Rgh. I know how you feel.

Cut your losses and leave. Life's too short to roleplay with Stephenie Meyer.
