So, at the beginning of this year I started up an RP board, intending for the members to primarily be myself and a couple of my close friends. One of my friends (also my co-moderator) started inviting people from another RPG that he frequents, which was fine by me when it was just one or two people.

Holy Jesus, this reminds me of the time I made a whole freakin' fantasy world with a partner, guided them by the hand for the first fifty posts or so, and then they ditch. They ended up claiming my world as their own, too, as I later found out, for another RP.

In short, I can feel your pain.

Equal suck, maybe? I personally think a lot more effort - and headdesking - goes into making a plot for multiple people to play in, and setting everything up. >>;

Hm, I suppose, although it was a fandom-based RP so it didn't take quite as much effort as making up a whole fantasy world would. Still, I'll take equal.

That sucks, You took it better then I would have. I think I would have completely snapped and sent an oh so NICE MESSAGE to every single one of them on an email account I would later on close and then let deviantart know that I'm been bothered by these people and they should just be banned. Heh

In any other situation, I think I would have done just that. I was angry enough to do that when I investigated their new boards for myself... until I realized exactly how abysmal their characters are and that most of them are not even trying to write with proper grammar. They're going to collapse upon themselves faster than I can tell them off, of that much I am almost certain. XD
