That Skuld that makes me terrified to play Balder out of fear I'll get her stalking my posts and having to deal with her terrible, terrible characterization.
Yeah, I have a Loki that I haven't used for a month because I can't deal with her tags. The straw that broke the camel's back was when she called him a Vanir god, and not an Aesir.
Scott and Alex? They don't look anything like them! And those aren't the only ones I can say that for. I've seen those two actors, and several others, show up as all sorts of inappropriate characters. They're pretty people but I thought the point of PBs was to match the character you're using them for, not just to by eye-candy.
That's not to say you can't use them for characters they haven't played themselves; I can think of a very few that are pretty visually accurate for Jensen or Jared. Why don't these people go hit up model sites or something to find more aesthetically feasible?
Because god forbid they do someone that isn't well-known because obviously, that's going to draw them into their character rather than something that's - god forbid - well-written.
I've used Jensen for some incongruous characters (well, one, namely the Corinthian, but that wasn't set in stone-- it was like, "who do I know who looks like an asshole?" and before I'd seen a single episode of SPN) but for frick's sake, those two are not the only young guy PBs in all the land.
This is somewhat off topic, but I've always thought Paul Bettany would be an awesome PB for the Corinthian. Especially circa Angels and Demons when he was super blond.
Without bothering to google, or even being arsed to check IMDB, I'd have to ask "Who are these PB personae and what do they have to do ith the price of fish?"

I have no idea about the series other than what I can look up on the internet because I don't own a TV.
