the giggly uke is extremely annoying. But it's also extremely annoying when someone thinks that being giggly and all that is a 'female' characteristic. It's annoying in and of itself, I don't like when personality traits are classed by gender. I do get annoyed when an uke is described as being curvy or small-boned like a woman or whatever.

Sorry if I seemed to be stereotyping, it's just I was trying to imply that people seem to play these strong characters more as if they were extras in Sailor Moon or Card Captor Sakura.

You see, I just have a really hard time imagining Sanzo wearing girl panties and being all feminine and shy.

FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU does this actually happen?! No. NO. D: Where is my manry Sanzo with balls of steel?!

Oh, and on a final note, I have met literally three Saiyuki RPers who actually bother to type out a reply any longer than 'He giggled and kissed Sanzo.' Really? That's all you've got? Just....Head. Effing. Desk.

Oh god this. Sometimes I feel just overly VERBOSE when RPing because people don't bother to give a reply more than three to five lines long. Not only that, it makes it extremely difficult to come up with the next scenario or whatever happening when you have nothing to go off of.

However your insistence that the 'uke' should be reduced to a giggly subby teenage girl is ridiculous and irritating.

This happens so often in IRL pairing fandoms, I just...I can't. I honestly don't know what to say except the fangirls who go by the seme/uke stereotypes have read one too many Minami Haruka manga. That is all.

Yes, the first part DID actually happen. Sanzo and his group worked at a maid cafe or something in that scenario and they expected me as Hazel to do I have no idea what. If I recall, I had Hazel become disinterested because Mr. Sanzo was no longer Mr. Sanzo. The person got mad at me.

Oh and I always feel verbose RPing with half the Saiyuki RP fandom, even when I can only manage a paragraph, I feel like Tolkien trying to write with Stephanie Meyer.

The uke thing I mentioned is my biggest pet peeve, though, because yeah, real life couples and realistic ones in fiction are not like that. Needs moar Dee/Ryo and less Yuki/Shuichi, plz.

I suppose it shows how much society has gone down the toilet, when people like Myers are worshiped like goddesses, and you never hear anything about the legit, wonderful writers of old anymore.

Then again, I actually LIKED Shakespeare in High School -.-.

That is full of fail. Completely. I like Saiyuki, too! I don't watch many animes and/or read many mangas, but I like that one a lot. D= And on a day-to-day basis, there's always a power struggle between Gojyo and Sanzo, it's kinda part of who they are. That's why Hakkai's there - to pwn their asses if/when they need it.

And I despise the 'seme'/'uke' stereotype. I don't like it in RPs or anywhere else for that matter, really - but that's just a preference. It makes me grind my teeth and want to punch something. "Yaoi" is about two men, you know? *MEN*.

About that drink ... Jack Daniels do it for you? Or do you need something stronger after experiencing that fail?

I think I'd probably be better off with a Dr. Manhattan (which is an in-joke with me and my dad, it's a Manhattan made with Johnny Walker Blue.) But yeah, the people I've been stuck with in Saiyuki RPs lately are full of fail. I mean, I once did one where I was Chin Yisou and the person RPing Hakkai actually said this little gem:

(I think Hakkai secretly likes Chin Yisou, we should play that up.)
