I'm sorry, do we understand English over here? There is no fantasy.. in a fantasy realm that doesn't exist. Modern and realism ONLY in a FANTASY REALM.

Someone earned a V8 smack on that one.

I understand you've got it out for this rather large and tight nit group of characters. I GET IT. You don't want them around in your PUBLIC chatroom. Cool. Make ( Read more... )

Having read the rest of the post, I've come to the conclusion that the answer is "No."

On a less-confused note, I think some people have threshholds for how to combine fantasy and realism. Like, for example, you might have a fantasy world, but that doesn't mean it's a world with dragons. Or take something like Twilight or True Blood, where it takes place in normal, modern-day America that has everything you expect to see there, except for then there's vampires. Some realism in a fantasy world makes the fantasy more believable.

It was more along the lines of him playing in a fantasy world, and banning the idea of fantasy even being spoken about.

I once played in a setting where magic was bant - but only ICly, and possibly on pain of death

Someone apped an emo half-elf or something, then tried to head to a major city. Too bad that thread died, it would have been hilarious.

should add that non-human races were also bant on pain of death IC

Is it supposed to be urban fantasy or something like that?

I'm sorry, and I'm not trying to snark, but your post really is difficult to read/confusing (at least to me). The first sentences completely lost me, and so did other bits and pieces. It feels like words are missing, and it's up to the reader to fill the gaps.
