Russia has four seasons. Four.

Goddamn it, DM, it's June. It's not going to be snowing in Moscow. Stop that.

That's up there with an rp I was in that was set in Colorado. They just assumed that Colorado is all mountains, all snow, all the time. Except I LIVE in Colorado, and can vouch for that fact that we see the whole range of weather patterns. Sometimes in the same day.

Would it kill people to research the places they're playing in?

New Hampshire is kinda like that as well in terms of weather patterns. It could be Snowstorm one day, Indian Summer (my term used for a warm, almost summerlike week in mid-Autumn) the next.

Heck, this year has been a 'Whiterock Winter' around here: No signs of Spring until May.

It was totally weird for a while. COLD COLD COLD, then we had a beautiful week, then out of the blue, MORE COLD, SUN, COLD, SUN, RAIN, RAIN, MORE RAIN, SUN.

I'm just glad it's actually warm in the evenings now. It would be a gorgeous day, but I'd debate on what to wear because I knew as soon as the sun went down, it'd drop down to like, forty. D:

Lucky them. Norway has three. Summer (about a weekend), Winter, and Wet, Cold Summer (also known as Lukewarm, Moist Winter)

Eh. Oslo might have three, but Trondheim has two. Holkeføre og Ikkje holkeføre.

See, I'd make a plot dealing with the fact that it's snowing constantly if I was that DM. What system are you playing?

Ah, that would be quite clever. It's a Nobilis game. (can't wait for the reprint!)

Oh, shit, the Baron of Nuclear Winters just got born, didn't it?

With Chancel-Mates the Viceroy of Mutually Assured Destruction, the Duchess of Domino Theory and Landesgraaf Jingoism.

Nobilis rules... I wish I could get my Noble of Stories and Imagination around again.

It was so great using ALL his energy in one go to force the party into 'Narrative Mode' so we could save our own Baron type fellow :D

In Canada we have Winter and Construction.

Except in Vancouver. In Vancouver we just have...Construction. With occasionally rainy patterns.

That sounds like the 8 months I spent in Michigan... from the time I arrived in May to the time I left in Febuary the next year, they were always doing construction...
