That's up there with an rp I was in that was set in Colorado. They just assumed that Colorado is all mountains, all snow, all the time. Except I LIVE in Colorado, and can vouch for that fact that we see the whole range of weather patterns. Sometimes in the same day.
Would it kill people to research the places they're playing in?
New Hampshire is kinda like that as well in terms of weather patterns. It could be Snowstorm one day, Indian Summer (my term used for a warm, almost summerlike week in mid-Autumn) the next.
It was totally weird for a while. COLD COLD COLD, then we had a beautiful week, then out of the blue, MORE COLD, SUN, COLD, SUN, RAIN, RAIN, MORE RAIN, SUN.
I'm just glad it's actually warm in the evenings now. It would be a gorgeous day, but I'd debate on what to wear because I knew as soon as the sun went down, it'd drop down to like, forty. D:
That sounds like the 8 months I spent in Michigan... from the time I arrived in May to the time I left in Febuary the next year, they were always doing construction...
