I think this is how you don't use a double lunge line.

A double lunge line? I was wondering what kind of contraption they were using to keep the poor horse's mouth tied to the saddle O.o

I don't know if you are referencing the long lines as double lunge lines, but if so then I see what you're saying. Instead of running them thru the rings on the saddle as if it were a surcingle, they have looped them thru the bit and back to the saddle like draw reins if this adds clarity for Monica.

Ground driving or long line work can be done properly and is a useful tool in training a horse as many of you posting in the comments already know. This however is a grand display of EPIC FAIL! I hope someone upgrades this horse and all of the others under this persons care ASAP!
