Holy moley, you couldn't pay me to get on some of those horses with bucks and shoulder drops/spins like that... but there were definitely some cases where the horse was clearly saying, ok, I don't know what you're doing up there and you're getting on my wick- get the heck off!

Damn! I'm impressed by the last one's stickability though.

Same here! There were some of those riders that stayed on through some pretty violent bucks and rears, and only came off at the very last minute. Like the girl whose horse started to freak out in the lake. She stayed on a pretty long time. Too bad she came off on the hard ground, instead of in the water. :/

A few of those made me giggle. One of those horses was clearly terrified by the frightening corner of the arena. I've had that happen more than once. At the time it freaked me out, but looking back on it I just have to laugh. :)

As I watched, I was literally thinking, "Ooh, couldn't stick that. Nope, that wouldn't work. She's got some awesome balance... ok, that was weak, MAN! I thought she was gonna save that." It's just a little bit too much gravity. :)

Both of my Thoroughbreds have had those arena moments- "Lalala, everything's grea... OMG WHO PUT THAT CORNER THERE?" Never quite so violently, though!

While riding in a Championship class at a horse show when I was a teen, my horse decided the announcer booth was absolutely terrifying, even though he'd seen it multiple times, and been by it multiple times. He spun out from under me, and onlookers told me there was no way I would have been able to stay on, even with my velcro butt.

Bit mean spirited to call that bad riding ... some were pretty impressive!!!

Sitting here with three fractured ribs from a fall last week some had me really wincing. EVERYONE falls off, if you're going to ride, you're going to fall!

Huh. Nice mix of stuff. Some of those horses just decided to withdraw their consent to be ridden.

A couple of those falls made me roll my eyes and want to confiscate stirrups though...if you can't sit THAT you need to work on your velcro butt.
