Will admit I could only watch the first one and omg fail fail fail. Green rider+green horse= omg what are you doing?? Someone is trying to break something and it's not the horse.

its called "tying around" I believe,its a cowboy-esque technique that used to be fairly common but is pretty outdated today.... seeing as we realize how bad we can screw up their spine by doing things like that.
And I have no clue what the *point* of it is.

I do know that seeing all those babies with their noses tied to their sides made me very, very sad.

The "point" they describe in the video is to get them to move their front legs, bend their necks, and "have control in the field". Take from it what you will! A lot of us are scratching our heads too. Haha
