Not bad_riding, but AWESOME farrier doing major damage control

There's no backstory provided, but this horse has obviously been seriously neglected. If you look close, you can see that he is not actually grey or grulla in color... he appears to be hairless. And then there's the issue of his feet. I'm really impressed with the lengths this guy went to to get this horse's feet back to normal.

Although hes got some fungus for sure, and his feet are terrible, I highly doubt he's not a grey or is hairless. Look at his mane tail and head; and feathers. He's some sort of grey, and I don't think he's hairless.

Look at how you can see all the creases in his skins when he lifts a hind leg. It looks all flat and dry. I really think it looks like he doesn't have hair, atleast not a full coat over his entire body.

Maybe they clipped him to get rid of matted hair or fungus?

I just said he could have fungus, which mean sure some of the hair came off. Line of skin when he bends...that's not exactly a science of saying he doesn't have hair. It looks to me like he has a short, thin, un groomed possibly fungus-y coat. He is (in my opinion) not hairless. He's got different pigments of hair on him, BTW. look at the difference in his feathers and face, that comes from, oh I don't know, hair. If he's a grey (or any color other than true white) his skin would be black. So if he had no hair, he'd tend to look blacker, don't you think?

Awww poor thing. Those hooves are just in a terrible state. Knew what was going on though, you could almost see how relieved he was when the farrier finished <3
