Please give me the "kangaroo on speed" he just goes at whatever she manages to point him at! Also her stirrups are uneven.

Good gawd! That rearing video... What kind of rider doesn't know that if a horse rears the last thing you want to do is pull back on the reins?? Heck my trainer always said if it happens just let go of the reins and grab some mane if you have to grab anything.

My (lease) horse was a rearer before I got him. His rearing would be mild and mostly out of play or getting nervous around whips, but they never put a rider on him that couln't sit through a rear. Lots of work with the trainers and vienna reins got it out of his system. Still has a tendency to try to throw his head up to get off work but that's about it. Of course if someone yanked on his face like that rider did, can't say for sure he wouldn't do it.

Well... The only thing that really bothers me about the first picture is her hands in the air and those puppy paws. She looks like she's avoided really catching her horse in the mouth. To be honest, I like to hop on my horse like that all the time... Often with no shoes (I have seen the foot photos). I've just never really considered that type of thing to be bad_riding. It sure could turn into a bad_judgement situation though.

Weeeee!

Actually I just looked through some more of the last girls videos (kangaroo on speed) and she's pretty good :) I guess you can't always judge someone by one video haha

The girl with the over-under really DOES look like she's ready to run barrels.. Horse seems better set up for it, too. Maybe she moonlights as a jumper..

There's a girl around here who has a big black barrel racer that she thinks is a good jumper even though it jumps super hollow and hits everything it can't get a good straight shot at. She also has no seat, so she ends up about 3 feet above her horse over every jump.
