I hate the Parelli mind-fuck more than anything, but is it necessary to do a billion entries in a row on it? Also, aside from the lack of helmet (which is a personal choice, albeit one I don't agree with) this actually seems to be a demonstration of really impressive riding. I certainly couldn't jump anything that tall and narrow bareback and bridleless... and the rider appears to be rather secure and balanced while doing it.
Agreed- I'm too busy being impressed by this rider to really worried about Parelli. Her equitation is better than a large percentage of the folks who show professionally, and the horse is a better jumper than 90% of what I see around here, and looks to be honest as the day is long. Not the neatest front end, as Erin pointed out, but still DAMN-worthy.
I can't stand parelli. I think it's nothing but snake oil, and it pisses me off. I end up undoing a lot of parelli crap in my line of work. HOWEVER that being said this is NOT an example of bad riding. I coach 15 year old girls to do the same damn thing, only there are a dozen of them doing it in a row. Photo.
The equitation in the jump is excellent, secure and both horse and rider seem to be in synch about what's going on. If anything this to me is a demonstration of extremely skilled riding and a well rounded horse/rider team.

Brilliant.

The metal cans also bug me. Especially since that looks like a very nice arena.

I hate Parelli nonsense, but the vendettas can be condensed and less nitpicky.
