I had to stop... The one early on, where the horse rolled right over her...I sure hope she was okay. She did seem alive and conscious at the end, but internal bleeding/broken pelvis seem likely :-(

I hope none of the horses got injured. I think most riders got what they deserved muwhaha!

I had to stop. :( Those are just monkeys hanging on for dear life. I know several very good barrel racers, many of whom actually start as dressage riders and their horses respond to leg pressure, not being yanked around in the mouth. This stuff offends me because it's not a sport then and those horses become rank and those riders get hurt.

Agreed. I know many skilled contesters, but the majority of what I see really is beat and yank.

I used to think barrel racing was easy, but now I see the hard part is the riders!
