Keean definitely has a style i wouldn't label as correct, per say, but i definitely don't see him slamming the horse's back or yanking too much. If anything he stands up longer than typically normal and avoids hitting the back altogether. but maybe i'm just not seeing it.
I think I saw Keean ride at the fair on Wednesday. I remember thinking he had a really different style. And I would say that over at least 1/3 of the jumps he did slam down on the horses back.
I saw Keean ride last Saturday. he nearly came off several times, but he definately has.... style o_O midway over each fence his legs pretty much look locked, then he flops down... I don't think it's upsetting his horse at all, but it looks so akward :/
Hahaha, I was there! Greenhawk National Showjumping finals, correct? Yeah, he was pretty bad, I was complaining to my mom about it. Did you notice his stirrups? I can't figure out where they came from.
yeah his stirrups are so weird! they're missing the outside bar? I've noticed quite a few riders with those lately though, but I don't get what's so different about them...
Keeann was a great rider as a junior, but he got banged up a lot when he started riding pro and for some reason has been a train wreck ever since. I watched him run through a barrier fence AND get his nose broken at seperate times in one day at a show a few years back. Yikes.
