It is so disappointing that you can do everything that is expected of you: finish school, avoid unwanted pregnancies, be kind to animals and crazy people ( many turn out to be relatives) and life still sucks. I can remember asking myself once, "Where is the life that I thought I would have if I did everything right

I plan to age very gracefully. I shall wear a red coat with a purple hat and not care in the slightest that they clash. Then I shall shuffle around the tinned produce aisle at the supermarket and mutter about we didn't need all this low salt rubbish in my day and I was spoon fed on raw salt crystals and my baby bottle contained neat castor oil and it never did me any harm
