The part about modelling is incredibly funny, you should use it in your stand-up if you haven't already done it. :D By the way - I really want to see the recording of the stand up you did in London. How can I get a copy???
I may well include that in something at some point. Most of my material is normally either pieced together from random comments like that and finally beaten with a stick until it has some sort of direction/theme, or its one huge great big rant that gets chopped to pieces and whittled down to the very best and snappiest bits. It's a long process, but I can see that bit ending up somewhere.
The other day I read through my original comedy material from six months ago and realised just how much stuff got changed on the journey from page to stage, and then changed again over the course of a few shows. Technically I aimed to do the same set at each gig for a few months, but its NEVER the same. I don't know if that makes me A) imaginative or B) inconsistant.
Once I get the video clip from the guy I will email it out to a few people. Of course you can have a copy. I, on the other hand, do not plan to watch it.
