Basically I think we can sum it up with "if the real plot manages to fill any of the squares on the joke bingo cards, you're still doing it wrong..."

That is incredibly sad isn't it?

I will cut them a wee bit of slack for one of them having been the "Ensign Frame is Jack's new boyfriend" square, granted, but this is only because I've been writing Torchwood/Being Human crossovers and it's handy for making weird icons... :)

Ah, that's true. It was the only 'reward' thing I was happy with. The Doctor knew about the events of Children of Earth, and I guess this was his way of saying 'move on'. Plus Alonso is pure adorableness <3

No, don't you remember? There was some to-do about the dad leaving squat when he died, and then they were all, if only we had that lottery ticket? It was a call back. It was a circle.

Oh Lauren called Martha/Mickey a while back. They're the perfect match, like my love for the never done Gunn/Buffy pairing.

I also like how both Martha and Rose got to see the Doctor before they met him. But Rose won't put it together because too much will have happened before he regenerates into the random stranger she had met.

(This is your friendly neighborhood Rose, BTW.)

Yeah, that's true. It would have been hilarious if she had put the ticket in her POCKETS, though. XD

Ohoho, I loved that moment in Smith & Jones.
"Like so!" *takes tie off*
Me: ...x3
