Great work! You guys have a great relationship. How can people think it is weird you have a young horse?????? If no one had young ones how would any of us have ones old enough to ride?
Sie ist ein sehr schöne Pferd. (Es tut mir leid, mein Deutsch ist schlecht...)
Riding isn't everything (and this coming from a riding instructor). There's definitely tons you can do with a young horse that can prepare it for its future life. Foals, yearlings, and two year-olds are actually a surprising amount of work if you want to prepare them properly. Since she's two now, have you started doing ground driving and stuff like that with her yet?
It looks like she's going to be an awesome little horse when she gets into "real work." Good job und viel Glück!
and of course young horses are a lot of work if you want to do it right. but it's also so much fun that it doesn't seem like work to me....
of course i can do much more with her than i put into the video. for example she loves to run in the riding arena, i also can take her along for the ride with a bigger pony with a rope on her holder. the clip you can see at 2.20 was the first time that i had her on two longes. she's quite good with this by now.i can also walk with her threw the village like this...
i have to say she's quite smart. lot's of time i only need to show her something one time and after this she knows what she has to do and how to act.
It sounds like you're doing a wonderful job with her and I'm sure part of the reason she has such a good, quick mind is because of all the things you've taught her up to this point. When she is old enough what do you plan on doing together?
first of all i want to ride her. i'm very, very small for an adult and therefore i have the perfect build for her. (i already broke in a welsh section a for somebody else and a tall shettland pony). i also plan to break her in myself. i don't want to give her away for this because i'm afraid that they would sat people on her who are to heavy for her back. and on the other side i will have the most easyest job with this because i have her trust
