not as much as cowboy boots since those tend to be thicker. Basically as much as you need...I ran mine under the shower (upside down of course!) and put 'em on then wore them all day walking around campus (it was real fun when I got to the part where I have to walk up 5 stories to class).
hahah i'd have to get one wicked pair of skinny jeans to pull that off on campus *L* luckily i dont have to walk up that many flights of stairs EVER to get to class *L*
and I will definalty give that a try in the coming weeks while its still warm out *L* make QUITE the fashion statement!! thanks for the tip!
I agree ;) I usually get into a trough with them, then wear them dry. You get the best, most custom-fit boots that way, lol. It's a soggy pain in the butt but it's worth it!
well getting them wet seems to be the way to do it! would putting them in a highly steam-filled room do the same thing or do they actually NEED to be, proverbially, soaked?
One trick I have done before it fold the back of the top and hold it in place with a clothespin for a day (not while you are wearing them though). Good Luck in the shows!
cool tip! I'm not finding I have tooo many issues with the back of the boot drastically cutting into my knee, I'm finding the tightness in the foot area the worst..
and thanks! I'm pretty sure i'm going to need it, seeing as I probably won't see a horse before my first show (EEP!) served me well last year, but we were only on the flat.. this year there's jumps :O (nothing major, just crossrails lol)
