It wasn't early in the morning by any means, but it felt like the crack of dawn to Kurt who was rarely getting out of bed before 11am these days when night times still mostly caused sleep to evade him when his mind wouldn't switch off. But these days, just having Blaine lying there holding him help and even if the thoughts were swirling around in his head, they weren't all bad and he was tolerating them better. He was still surviving on very little sleep during the night, though, and he knew that was one thing his doctors wanted to try and tackle next.

But he was up now and left Blaine out like a light in bed and snoring very, very softly beneath the mound of expensive covers. Kurt heard the alert of the security buzzer from his from gate go when he was on the first floor and heading to the spiral staircase to make his way to the kitchen for a much-needed cup of coffee... possibly even a double-shot espresso. Of course, being the billionaire he had a security grid people had to be authorised to pass before they even made it to the front door, and the security guys had a safe list of people they could let through without needing to check with Kurt first (which had more than doubled since Blaine moved in). Kurt waited at the intercom at the top of the stairs for the inevitable message to come through. "You awake, boss?" the southern drawl of one of his security guards came through. The intercom was switched off in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and his housekeeper or Amelia if she was around would answer the intercom in his absence. "Some Asian chick is here to see you. Says she's an old school friend. She sorta looks familiar..."

Kurt's finger was poised over the intercom button as he adjusted his silk lounging pants at his hips where they were falling down (yes, he needed to eat more, according to all the freaking broken records around him in his ear) and he froze, staring at the intercom screen with his mouth hanging open a little. Pushing a couple of buttons, he brought up the CCTV image of the visitor at the security gate entry to his property and he was shaking his head slightly in disbelief. "Send her to the door. Thank you, Rocko."

Jesus Christ in all hell. Kurt had vague, vague recollection of talking to Tina at the reunion, but he had been so goddamn trashed, he couldn't specifically remember the interaction and he hadn't spoken to her since. She could well me pissed at him for being an asshole at the reunion, but now she was here, and he had to face another old friend from the past. He made it down the stairs and pulled the loose cotton button up, one of his own designs), down over the tie on his pants and went to answer the door when the bell rang. Drawing in a breath to brace himself, Kurt punched in the security code to open the door and pulled it open, very much find Tina Cohen-Chang standing there in all her gorgeous Asian glory. "Sorry, I'm a Satan Worshipper. I don't need converting today. My Master will be really pissed and I'm late for my weekly Bible burning session," he murmured, his lips flicking up slightly with the first hints of a smile, but he still had no idea why she was here.
