UNLIKE A LOT OF THESE COOL KIDS, I am not going into super detailed info about the structure of Reso's classes. I'll just give some more generalized info that'll help you understand what he's teaching:
MS Literature
For students in middle school, Reso teaches Literature. Unlike other language art classes, this focuses specifically on the written word. Units dedicated to various forms of poetry and prose will be discussed. It also doubles as something of a creative writing and literary criticism class, as both are important to understanding the fuller expanse of the art of literature. This is part of the required core classes for Middle School.
HS Music Theory
To quote Wikipedia, Music theory is the study of how music works. It examines the language and notation of music. It seeks to identify patterns and structures in composers' techniques, across or within genres, styles, or historical periods. In a grand sense, music theory distills and analyzes the fundamental parameters or elements of music-rhythm, harmony (harmonic function), melody, structure, form, texture, etc. Broadly, music theory may include any statement, belief, or conception of or about music. ... So basically that. This is considered an elective and is therefore not a required course for High Schoolers.
Just give the name of the student, their grade level, and what course they're taking, yo.
