Fandom: Batman/DC Comics. This is a Tim Drake centered story and one of my favorites. Tim is abducted by aliens for something in his Young Justice days. Kon, Cassie and Bart go to rescue him. It forces the Bat family to reflect on how different Tim is around them and his friends.
Why I rec this fic: I love it. I love the core four Justice League. Tim Drake is my favorite DC character and they have done him wrong for a while. Forcing the Bat family to see how different Tim is forces them to finally open their eyes. It has Tim, Conner, Cassie and Bart in space saving the day. It is a great read.

Fandom: DC/Batman, Pairing: Dick Grayson/Tim Drake. It all started with an alien abduction that had Tim and Dick getting married and then it just kept happening.
Why I rec this fic: I love Dick/Tim and this one is just so good. Everyone knows the reason why they keep getting chosen for alien marriages Dick is just a little slow on the uptake. I love this story so much.
Draw a Straight Line by Tabithian
Fandom: DC/Batman Characters: Tim and Dick. Tim and Dick will do anything to protect one another that is certainly true when they are captured by aliens and forced to compete in death matches.
Why I rec this fic: It shows how much Dick and Tim love one another and will do their best to keep the other one safe. If you love Tim and Dick's brotherly bond this is a great read.
The Female of Her Species is More Deadly than the Male by Angstosaur
Fandom: Torchwood, Pairing: Jack/Ianto. Angstosaur work is a must read if you are a Janto fan. This one is so well done. When Ianto is taken by the alien blowfish it places the team in danger as they must go against them and those they thought as their allies.
Why I rec this fic: It is such a well written Ianto centered story that shows his relationship with Jack as they both have to make tough choices.
For Captain and Cardiff by blackhemlock
Fandoms: Doctor Who/Torchwood Pairings: Jack/Ianto, The Doctor & Ianto. This story is something I wish we got to see Ianto and the Doctor working together. They would have made such a great team. The Doctor abducting Ianto to keep him safe is something I can get behind.
Why I rec this fic: It gives us something we won't get Ianto and the Doctor working together and the Doctor keeping Ianto from UNIT.

The TARDIS eats Ianto in order to help him heal. Yes not your typical abduction story but that is what makes it so interesting.
Why I rec this fic: It is part of a series that I love. Ianto angst, Janto angst, Gwen being put in her place. It is a really good read. I really enjoyed the TARDIS eating Ianto, that is something I have never seen before.

Why I rec this fic: wintersnight is one of my favorite authors their stories are so good but this is one of my favorites. The Batfamily has no clue that Tim no longer considers him a part of his family until an au version of Dick. Jason and Damian arrive in the cave. When Tim learns that the alien invaders that he and his team defeated in his world wasn't stopped in theirs he goes with them to help save those taken by the aliens and save their world. Tim finds something he has been missing with his Bats and his Bats fear they could lose Tim to the other worlds them.

Fandom: Batman/DC Pairing: Kon-El/Tim
Why I rec this fic: dark!Tim who after losing the Robin suit lost, he lost the one thing he had left to hold onto. It is a really thrilling read to watch as Tim who has been abused emotional and verbally, he was degraded by those he thought loved him most and turned into a monster that they had to hunt.

Fandom: DC/Batman Pairings: Dick/Jason becoming Dick/Tim/Jason
Why I rec this fic: If you are a fan of Tim Drake then you have had read all of wintersnight work but especially this one. Tossed aside, degraded by those he considered family Tim has changed from the boy they all knew to someone different that has no room for the Bats in his family. The Batfamily sets out to make amends and fix what the damage they have done. Tim doesn't make it easy at all.

Why I rec this fic: I love a/o/b stories and this is a really good one where omegas are considered below everyone and as an omega Jared won't stand for that. Something that alpha Jensen doesn't like a forced mating between the two forces them to revalue everything they know.

Why I rec this fic: I love this story so much it is a different take on the a/o/b world where being an alpha or an omega is not the normal and they are kept a very close eye on. Alpha Jensen and omega Jared find themselves matched and mated by the law and fall in love along the way.

Why I rec this fic: It is amazingly done. Jared is paralyzed do to an accident as a child. It shows his struggles as teacher as some of his fellow teachers look down on him for his disability and think they are better than him because they have the use of their legs.

Why I rec this fic: It is a great series shows the world through Jared eyes as he sees it with autism and Asperger syndrome while some will look down at him and believe he is below them but Jared doesn't let the opinions of others stop him and that is part of the reason Jensen falls in love with him.
