I love hurt!Ianto fics and this is one of the best. Ianto is aboard the Valiant when the time reversed and this shows his recover as he struggles to deal with torture and rape at the hands of the Master. Ianto will never fully be Ianto again but he shows why he is a survivor and Jack is there helping him every step of the way.

Jared is the outcast at his high school and the target of bullying when he finally reaches his breaking point he learns who truly cares about him. Hurt!Jared is a favorite of mine and this one is full of it.

Title: Of Spiders and Super-Soldiers by AuddieAussie
Fandom: MCU
Pairing: Steve/Tony/Bucky
Hurt!Tony and Iron Dad and Spider Son are among my favorite MCU stories to read this one. Tony, Steve and Bucky have a lot of things to work out which isn't made easy by Tony's newly adopted son Peter who makes his dislike of the two very clear.

Fatebegins work is amazing this one is no different reading as Jared struggles to deal with losing his boyfriend and giving their child away is heartbreaking, him finding not only his son but Jensen as well and watching as he struggles with should he tell Jensen who he really is, which becomes harder to keep to himself as he falls in love with Jensen deeper and deeper.

One of the very first J2 fics I ever read and it still remains among my favorite. Jared is hurt and abused trying to stay hidden from the cult who took him as a child and Jensen is the first person who Jared truly trusts, it is a long road and this story is full of both hurt!Jared and hurt!Jensen with protective!Jensen. The hospital scene is among my favorites.

I love the this story, it has once again hurt Ianto and angst between Jack and Ianto. The guys work through their issues while dealing with a new threat to Torchwood.

Again while I don't normally care for bottom!Jensen or mpreg!Jensen this one is different. It is so heartbreaking and full of love as Jared and Jensen navigate around Jared's grief over not being able to have children and Jensen decision to carry their child. It is an amazing story.

I am so lucky to call gothpandaotaku a friend, she writes the most amazing angst filled stories and this one is no exception. The boys are dealing with their grief over Charlie's death, Sam is pregnant and Dean is losing himself to the darkness of the Mark of Cain and goes to far. The boys have to overcome a loss to find their way back to one another and I adore how protective and caring Castiel is to Sam in this story.

Children of Earth fix-it's are always so full of angst and this one has Jack dealing with his grief over losing Ianto as well as his family. I love the fact that Jack and Ianto find their way to one another no matter what universe.
Title: Splintering in Slow Motion by: cyndarae
Fandom: SPN RPF
Pairing: J2
Grief can take many forms for Jared in this story it is him losing the love of his life and not dealing well with trying to move on without Jensen. It is a story full of heartbreak and love as two men find their way back to one another.
Warnings: Suicide attempt and cheating.

Jack and Ianto suffer a lost of a child and as they deal with their grief they also seek vengence for those who took someone they love. I love how they mix Torchwood and MCU and bring back beloved characters in new ways.

A very different take on how to save Ianto after Children of the Earth. I love stories that have Ianto as Fae or elves and this is a beautifully done one. We see Jack's grief when he thinks he has lost Ianto and regrets never telling him how he feels.
