I am sick to death of television programs that hold fat people up to ridicule!

Awesome post. We should all be this angry and disgusted by it. I've always been appalled by these sort of 'fat poking' shows.

But then most reality tv turns my stomach...they can make fun of all kinds of people - ignorant and uneducated people, physically/mentally inept people, parents, teenagers - just to get ratings.

I have been fighting the stupid diet myth for years and if I hear one more medical person use the Body Mass Index I will scream! Weight is only an issue if you are suffering health consequences of the weight. I no longer whatch ANY commercial TV stations for the simple fact that I have the brain power of more than a turnip and I will not support/encourage any of these stupid reality programs and that includes Runway Whatever, home improvement shows and anything that degrades any one for any reason! And I HATE TV commercials! Argh.
