*flinches away, looking as if she expected Katherine to raise her hand at her or something*

*she squeezes her eyes shut and presses her hands to her ears*

*sits down helplessly and begins to cry*

*after a moment of waiting, waiting for that hand or fist to slam down, she carefully opens her eyes and looks around*

*she looks stunned to find Katherine there, crying*

*having no idea what to do in such a situation--no one's ever come to her when she was crying... what was she supposed to do..?--she just stands there, looking on helplessly*

*doesn't even bother wiping away her tears, but just sits there pathetically*
