I'd love it if DC would collect things like this and some of the other Crisis on Infinite Earths crossovers into a collection. In the current market shops would have trouble keeping it in stock.

Actually, they already are! There's a series of "Crisis on Multiple Earths" series that's about to release its fourth volume collecting all the original stories from the old JLA issues. There's also a fifth volume, "Crisis on Multiple Earths: The Team-Ups," collecting various Earth-jumping stories from other series.
