Secretly a Garth Brooks fan

As I have alluded to earlier, I was a fan of Garth Brooks at an earlier point in my life. During my two terms at SLF, I have a lot of time to listen to music while I'm working, so I have been playing Garth Brooks a fair amount. The reasons are twofold

Ya know... "the speaker" does have a name.. :P

As much as it may be a surprise to some, I've began to appreciate country music some more. In fact, I had a ton of Garth Brooks' music on my computer for a while (but have since removed it because the person for whom I downloaded it doesn't need it anymore).

Maybe a trip out to the Stampede Ranch is in ord... mm maybe I shouldn't get too far ahead of myself :P

If I recall correctly, one of the things that "the speaker" said was, "Now, I don't want anyone to think that I'm a country music fan, but there is a Garth Brooks song...". I figured that I would protect his/her identity. :P

There is some good country music out there, but I'm only drawn to a small segment of it at the moment. Maybe I should check out some new artists to see what's out there nowadays.

I think that the speaker said something along the lines of "I don't want to give the impression that I'm well-versed in country music.. because I'm not." But, hey, my memory could be fading ;)
