So this morning I slept in (till nine) and then went to go get MIDWEEK BRUNCH with Vicksters. She's like "oh I know this place right near the med campus!" (about a mile from where I live and where her grad program meets). FAIL VICKSTERS IT WAS ABOUT THREE FEET AWAY FROM THE CITY LINE WITH DUNDALK. I've only ever been to the branch in Federal Hill prior to moving to MV this summer, and there you just walked up to a computer and logged on. There are all these rules at the Central branch about signing up and it made me completely clueless.

It is a really nice library though.

Ah! the Light Street Branch! I grew up down there and went to that branch all the time, in the distant pre-digital era.

Sorry about the confusion of the computer log-on system, but trust me, it's better than making the librarians carry cattle prods and use them on the patrons, which we kinda used to do. *g*
