I'm sure Lua's backstory is around somewhere, but I don't know of it. In the 1934 story arc, [Really, 1932 onwards] Lua is 'kidnapped' by Placido Russo, Ladd's uncle, in order to keep Ladd quiet and out of trouble when he's in prison -as far as the family business goes. Basically, Ladd has to say he has nothing to do with the Russo crime syndicate, putting them in the clear. -It also works as a deterrant to keep Graham Spector relatively quiet. In 1934, Carol and the Vice-President of the Daily Days, somewhat inadverdantly [I think- It may be out of pity] 'rescue' Lua from the Russo family. I think XD Oh, and she wears turtlenecks.

Oh, and in case you're interested in Lua because she's Ladd's fiancé, you might like to know that an old flame of Ladd's, called Leila came close to being engaged to him, or something, I think... [Who he killed, somewhat accidentally- one of the things which made him the sadist he is now]. You'll definitely need a second opinion on this information.
do you have a source on that? I have a friend who's thinking about playing Ladd and she'd probably dig that information if she could get a confirm on it.
ARE YOU SERIOUSLY THINKING ABOUT PLAY LUA? OR AM I READING THIS WRONG?
I have nothing much to add other than I heard rumors of a suicide attempt? and that somehow leading to her meeting Ladd. I haven't been able to confirm this. And another thing I can't confirm (but saw a little in a Japanese fanart strip?) is that she like to put together puzzles and then Ladd breaks them against her will. but she likes it.

Huh. I'd want further confirmation/details on the suicide attempt but even if I don't get it it's something to think about. And the puzzles detail is just cute.
I am in love with this '34 outfit. The '31 outfit is cute, but it's too formal to get a real grasp on the character through their clothes.
