Character Question.

Dec 05, 2009 00:11

Hey, who are these two in this scan? I kinda looked like maybe one of Huey's relatives, but who knows. It's driving me crazy. Thank you! I need to get around to reading all the translations, soon. I love this series.

Also Can anyone tell me about. Tack? Tick's brother. I would really like some background on him. Thank you, again!

It might be better if you edited this post with the request for information on Tack so it's all in one entry rather than a double posting.

They're Claudia and Charon Walken, Claire's and Chane's grandkids.

Sorry to butt in, but are you sure? The girl seems too shy to be Claudia (Claudia's hair is wavier, too), and the boy looks a little too awake for Charon. Here is an official picture of them.

I've seen a few fanarts featuring a young Huey and a sweet-looking girl with blond hair and blue eyes. Here is one. I'm not sure who she is besides possibly her name (which is Monica; thank you, translation service) but I'm guessing that she's his love interest (or something like that) from the 1700s storyline, based on the fanarts. I'm going to venture another guess and say that the picture in question is of Huey and whoever that girl is.

And here is another pretty fanart. Sorry if you can't see it since I'm not sure if it'll show up. Also, apparently this couple is called Hueymoni by at least some of the Japanese fandom, which confused the heck out of me when I tried to look the girl up and translate her name. I was all, "What the heck kind of name is Hyumoni???" ^^;;

It's a fifteen year-old Huey laforet in 1711 with his sweetheart Monica.

And really, you should move your other post into this one... It's a bit spammy.

Sorry. Had no intention of spamming. It's done. It was late I wasn't thinking. Thank you for the answer. I didn't think it was Claudia and Charon.

Thank you for the info. It's greatly appreciated.

It seems Huey is indeed intended to be the overall antagonist. He seems to have caused a lot of the plot machine. Though, I guess that is all part of his experiment.

No problem at all! (Mad scientist type antagonists are awesome xD)

I'm off this weekend so, I did massive research on the series. I really need to read it in English. I think I'm going to petition the various NA Manga distributors. I'm sure that won't do a think but, it's worth a try.

I'm loving Huey and his various groups. I really want to read the 1705 murder mystery specked with backstory. That is how you do backstory.

All the little tid bits are cracking me up. Like, Huey came NYC to look for Claire (who had left for the circus) and left with Tack. The Splots were so freaked by the events in The Slash (?) that they warned their great-grand kids. Who in turn were freaked out by the boat incident. Elmer pollyanned through Csez's depression in 2001, and there was a recon crack twist at the end of Blood Sabbath. Though it was def. foreshadowed during the Advenna scenes.
