I've got a wrestler...
This isn't a directly Babywise question, but I'm at a loss and am trying to get ideas from some more experienced moms!
I have an 11 month old girl, Amy, who's a little fireball. My problem is that I can't get her to hold still long enough to dress her and I barely can get in a diaper change. She's a very strong baby and I have to pin down to button the snaps on her pants, while she screams. I've had several skilled church nursery workers hand her to me half-dressed because they couldn't get her to hold still long enough. I've tried giving her different toys, playing peek-a-boo, talking to her, tickling her, and everything I can think of to hold her attention long enough to dress her but so far when she decides she's done with being dressed it's a fight from there. It's really frustrating, especially when I'm in a hurry to be somewhere and it takes me five minutes just to put on her shoes and another 5 minutes to snap her pants. And yes, I've also tried pants without snaps, but those don't stay on longer than 10 minutes once she starts playing so I usually dress her in overalls. (I miss summer when she could just wear dresses and this wasn't an issue! =) She's been a wrestler since she was tiny, but now that she's bigger it's getting to be a problem!
