I will be slowly migrating away from LJ, not only because I think the golden age of these services is over and I've now seen my original blogging community home go down in flames... but also because I'm fairly certain almost no one reads me here anymore. I still read here because I can't figure out how to get an email notification when you write on your other blog.

That's a big reason why I created one of Facebook's "fanpage" for this blog: notifications. If you're not a big FB user, you should also be able to do it through RSS (link on the upper part of the blog site, next to other social media links).

I'm not leaving it yet. :) I'm still cross-posting for now, but the last year or so of posts here has shown that it's dying as a medium. :-/ Not many seem to be exclusively loyal to it (not that I blame them). I get far more traffic from Facebook and the main site, and it's a bit of a chore to imagine doing the crossposting forever and ever, kwim? I'd like to think I can keep writing for a lot longer.

I still read you here. Old habits die hard. I also follow you on fb and tumblr, but it's easier for entries to get lost in the shuffle. Haven't found a good RSS since google reader died, but I can just check in with your URL directly.

I love love LOVE hearing about your parenting journeys, parenting like burning, all of it.

After Google Reader, I found Feedly. It's similar but just not the same. I LOVED the ease of GR.
