This is totally random to your post, but I thought "OMG I need to ask Babs something" earlier and didn't remember until you posted haha.

I'm taking an intro to photography class this semester and I know that it's the photographer, not the camera, that gets the shot so I was wondering if there were any general photography tips you could give me. Like where to focus if I want to capture subject A or how to get a shot lined up perfectly.

I'm house sitting out on Arbutus Road right now and, as you might imagine, there are tons of Arbutus trees. It's also right on the beach. Let me know if you guys would like to come out and visit! Maybe this weekend? :)

10. It's heartbreaking.

My oldest is almost 6 and starts kindergarten in 13 days and I have no.idea. how the fuck I am going to survive this. My little one just turned 2, and as I watched them play at the museum last week I had tears streaming down my face... How did this happen? How is J about to start school and W is a walking talking toddler? I am about to cry right now just thinking about it.

I need to get pregnant, like, rightthissecond.

Holy crap, those EYES. Tempest is gorgeous. She was always cute, but in that awkward-kid kinda way. But man, these pictures stopped me in my tracks. So very pretty.
