Catching up has been a never-ending battle since I got home. It's been over a week since I came back but it feels like it's been less than 24 hours. I am so exhausted all the time; I'm starting to wonder if I'm not fighting something off because this is a little long for sleep deprivation. I think I could sleep for twenty hours and still drag ( Read more... )

You are SO strong. I really admire your patience. I would have lost it a long, long time ago.

*hugs* to you and your family <3

Some lines need to be drawn, and some battles need to be fought. Unenviable situation.

What a shame to have such a volatile Mother.
And what a blessing to have a loving family like yours.

On another note, could you have caught Marika's Mono?

No, I had it just after I got married... it seriously nearly killed me (rare reaction; allergic to the virus or whatever the fuck. I don't know. Anyway...) but you can't get it again. HOWEVER it apparently stays dormant and can be reactivated as chronic fatigue later on in life... so I'm wondering if maybe that's what it is? I haven't looked up on this, so I'm pulling on 10 year old information I got from my doctor.

I tested positive for mono twice. I caught it from a friend my freshman year of high school and tested positive for it. Four years later, after a severe case of folliculitis (staph infection of the hair follicles on my body) due to bed bug bites, I was worn down and tired and just generally ill and the NP at my school clinic ran a blood panel and included the mono test not knowing that I'd already had it and it came back positive. The doctors deduced that I have chronic Epstein Barr and whenever my immune system gets stressed out due to lack of sleep or illness, my mono rears it's ugly head and I test positive for it again.

ah, someone is crazy and it's you, the k is for krazy.

There ya go, that sums it up. I laughed so hard when I saw these tags at the end of the post.

My mother is law is like this too, my husbands sister lives with us. And of course everything bad that happens is our fault and anything good is disregarded. :P

You're doing a great job.
