I like Claudia, which is funny, because her spelling DRIVES ME INSANE. (it even drove me crazy when I was a kid.) I also like Stacey. LET ME JUST RANK ALL OF THEM FOR YOU

Claudia
Stacey
Dawn
Mary Anne
Kristy
Jessi
Mallory

I don't care about Abby so much.

it's nice that I've put such ridiculous amounts of thought into this

I loved her crazy clothes, her hidden candy, and her poorly spelled notebook entries. She was also the one who had the best books IMO. To me her stories seemed like she was more grounded in reality. She was not a widely drawn characture of an archetype like K. Ron, Stacey the metropolitan preteen whore, Mallory as the oldest of a carbon copy Duggar brood, and Dawn the annoying future vegan.

Plus Claud had a very close relationship with her grandmother Mimi, and I was super close with my gran. Claudia and the Sad Goodbye is my favorite book of the series even though it's incredibly sad. My gran passed away right after the new year, years and years after I'd read the book.

I like Stacey best because I think she has a healthy sense of cynicism about the BSC. :) Also I love that she's a label whore and obsessed with shopping but not a complete stereotype - like me. lol

My favorite was always Stacey, she was just the most interesting to me I guess. But I identified most with Mary Anne.
