Over the past week, I've read a couple of Friends Forever books, thanks to the ebook project. (They're super hard to find, at least around these parts.) Some of it read like bad fanfiction. I havent read any of the FF series yet,I have two at home Claudia Gets her Guy and Stacey and the Boyfriend Trap that I recently ordered,but I too love the Mary Anne and Claudia relationship,I wish the MA Sweet 16 Author finished that.

For some reason, I always thought that Shannon and Stacey would make great friends. They were both blond, pretty, very smart and somewhat snobby. Plus, didn't Stacey originally go to private school in NYC? So they'd have that in common. Anyway, I just remember sometimes reading bits of dialogue with Shannon and kind of thinking of her as a Stacey #2.

I agree, I always thought that Shannon and Stacey had a lot in common and would be good friends. Not only are they both more into the fashion side of things, they are both really smart as well. They could let out their inner geek together. :)

In the regular BSC books, I liked the scenes with Stacey and Mallory doing things together because they're neighbors.

me too. I think Mallory really looked up to Stacey, and they would have been good for each other.

I could have seen Claudia and Mary Anne being good friends. I got the impression that Kristy was a little on the possessive side of MA, and prior to her growing a pair in Mary Anne Saves the Day, she probably just went along with it.

Earlier books talked about Stacey and Dawn kind of having a "bond" because they both ate healthy food. I would have liked to see more of that.

Mary Anne and Cary! I thought there was totally something brewing between them in MA's Revenge.
