Check what I found in the Wikipedia entry about Karen Brewer. You have to scroll down to the bottom, where it says;

Heh, they've already edited that out.

When I was really young (like, six or seven) I idolized Karen, but for some reason when I started reading the BSC I just found her really annoying.

LOL and on the main BSC article, on Kristy's part it reads:

"Karen Brewer is without a doubt, the most obnoxious character in all the history of written word."

And it also says Kristy is a homosexual because her father walked out on her... or something LOL

Wow... I really want to go back and reread LS now cause it never really occurred to me how spoiled she was. Guess as a 7 year old I identified all too well, heh (not the actual getting everything I want part, just the WANTING to be a brat!)

I disapproved of her when I was 8 or 9. I think that's because I came from a pretty strict family and I knew I'd be in so much trouble if I acted the way she did. Yet, I continued to read the LS books and cringe.
