Sought After BSC Books?

Sep 22, 2012 23:23

I have tried several times to sell off my BSC books after I got the ebooks. I don't collect books, so after I read them, I'm ready to ship them out. I found out that shipping them out, however, is very expensive. I decided that I'm going to put some up on bookmooch.com and paperbackswap.com, giving the rest to the library for their next booksale. The late series books are really hard to find anywhere, so if you have some of those you should list them.

I do collect some of the books (not all, just the ones I like best) so I personally am not up for swapping, but I may want to buy some off of you if you have any I'm looking for. Can you send me a list of what you have, or is selling not an option at all?

Anything post-#100 of the regular series (SS#14 & #15, and whatever the analogous mysteries are - all of the ones after Abby joined the club?). These had a far more limited print run, and were definitely the hardest for me to find. Especially, for whatever reason, late-series Kristy books (#118, #129). If you haven't already, check out bsc-trade, that might give you a better idea of what people are searching for =)

*points above* The later books didn't get reprinted a zillion times so they're harder to find. I know PBS will let you see how many people are wishing for a book so that might help you decide.

Depending on the books you have/want, I'd probably be interested. Can't say for sure until I know what you need/want. ;)

None of them are going to move very fast on Paperbackswap, though the later ones will move faster than the early ones. If you post them to Bookmooch, some should move fairly quickly, especially if you use condition notes and they are in good shape.

ditto on the later series books. it also seems like the portrait collections go quickly, if you have any of those.

for mailing, you can ship books media rate, which is a lot cheaper than first-class. just in case you didn't know.
